The mission of Health Research of Oklahoma is to help evaluate the safest and most effective treatments for Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Psoriasis, Ankylosing Spondylitis and other arthritic conditions.
An autoimmune disease, in which the body attacks the joints and causes painful inflammation.
Psoriatic Arthritis is an inflammatory arthritis accompanied by psoriasis that affects the joints.
A chronic degenerative condition in which the cartilage of the joints breaks down causing pain and swelling in the affected joints.
A type of Arthritis that affects the spine and causes the sacroiliac joints and vertebral discs to fuse when new bone is created.

Health Research Study in Oklahoma
Health Research Oklahoma offers a research study Oklahoma, clinical trials in Oklahoma City, focusing on a variety of conditions. Local doctors are studying investigational medication for rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Doctors are comparing treatment with this investigational medication to treatment with the comparator product (both containing etanercept). You may qualify for this study if you are:
- At least 18 years of age
- Have active, moderate-to-severe Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) despite treatment with methorexate
- Are still taking methotrexate, which doesnt work well for you
Qualified volunteers will not be charged for:
- Investigational medication or comparator product for Rheumatoid Arthritis.
- Study-related care from a local doctor.
